Social media and marketing for a London post-hardcore band through the release of their Smoke Mirror EP and their recent European tour. Managing a content plan and paid ads campaigns.
Planned and ran the release of Smoke Mirror end to end: a pre-save push across streaming channels, a run of social clips building to the official video on 18 September, then a paid Meta Ads campaign to turn views into streams. No agency, no label budget: strategy, content and ad spend were all mine.
Booked the band’s first European dates in Barcelona, Marseille, Lyon and Paris, working with local promoters and labels to co-promote each show in French and Spanish. Shot the photography, graphics and video on the road and turned it into daily content, which drove most of the account’s growth over the campaign.

Directed and edited three music videos for the band.
Designed and built the band’s official site as the one place every post points to: music, tour dates, merch and bookings.
Marketing, social media and events for an independent venue in Norwich, 2022 – 2025: from a weekly vinyl night to garden festivals and Pride fundraisers. Programming the events and content calendar, designing promotional material and videography.
I ran the venue’s marketing end to end: a year-round events calendar, local partners, all promotion designed in-house and the content that filled the room.
Built a roster of local food traders (Blue’s NR3, East Dough Pizza, Sundogs, Gorilla Street Kitchen) and musicians, negotiating takeovers and co-promotion so every event reached two audiences. Collab posts were the main driver of new footfall.
Programmed and delivered the full calendar, from a weekly vinyl night and quiz to Oktoberfest, garden festivals and two Pride fundraisers: concept, booking, budgets, staffing and running the day. Attendance rose by around a quarter and repeat bookings by around a third.
Designed all posters and print in Canva, with a distinct look for each night, and filmed and edited reels in DaVinci Resolve, including a recurring “Rating cocktails” series. Targeted Meta Ads supported the bigger dates.
Best-performing posts: album-launch collab, 121 likes · Blue’s NR3 burger reel, 112 likes.
A weekly community night created from scratch. Customers bring a record they love, it gets played on the bar’s record player and they get a free drink in exchange. 10–30 people a night, built on regulars who come back because they choose the music, and filmed on the night for reels and stories.
Organised, booked, designed and promoted a fundraising day for Norwich Pride two years running, with live bands, DJs and street-food partners. Money raised doubled from the first year to the second, from £150 to £300.
Filmed and edited on the night for Instagram.
B2B marketing and social media for a SaaS analytics platform serving ecommerce brands. Supporting the Head of Marketing on go-to-market: product launch video, customer-story promos, integration announcements and lead-generation content built for AI search.
Conjura is a B2B SaaS startup specialising in analytics for ecommerce brands. As an intern and freelancer I supported the Head of Marketing on the go-to-market and SEO/AEO strategy, producing the launch, lead-gen and sales content a small team needs to ship a release.
For the ShipStation integration I identified the top three value propositions and what each meant for ecommerce operators, then translated them into an easily digestible MOFU piece: a scripted, captioned walkthrough showing the feature in the product rather than just naming it.
Supported the building and execution of Conjura’s SEO and AEO strategy. Using Claude with the DataForSEO MCP, I analysed the competitor landscape and uncovered opportunities for high-impact articles and landing pages, written so that both search engines and AI answer engines surface them.
Produced the assets that marketing, sales and partnerships needed day to day in Canva and DaVinci Resolve: an 8-page AI-commerce guide ending on a demo CTA, a 10-second customer-story promo for LinkedIn, and an integrations motion graphic.
An example of the search content I wrote from the DataForSEO research: a long-form guide targeting “best ecommerce shipping solutions”, timed to the ShipStation launch so the integration had a top-of-funnel entry point from search.
